CHESAPEAKE CARDIGAN WELSH CORGI CLUB ANNUAL CALENDAR PHOTO CONTEST
The annual photo contest is open to all amateur photographers who are members of CCWCC. To enter, bring 8×10 hard copy photos to our meeting on Sunday, July 15, 2018, at the 4-H Club in Upper Marlboro.
There are five photo categories:
- Portrait
- Puppy
- Comedy
- Performance/Action
- General
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
The entry fee is $3 per photo. Entries are limited to 2 photos per family for each category, but no more than 5 photos total. Checks should be made out to CCWCC. Cash will be accepted at the meeting.
You must own the rights to the photos you are submitting. No “official” dog show/event photos, please. Also, no professional photographs taken by anyone else.
Entries must be available in high resolution digital format ( Needed for calendar). 8×10 hard copies will be judged.
Photos chosen for the calendar may be cropped, resized, and/or edited to fit specific calendar sizes and guidelines. Owners of chosen photos must e-mail a digital copy of the image within two weeks of the event.
Please include your name, e-mail address, phone number, dog’s name, and category on the back of each entry.
We will not be accepting mail-in or digital entries this year. Voting will begin when all entries are posted. Entries must be received by 10:30.
PHOTO TIPS
Each photo must have at least one Cardigan, but multiple Cardis are fine.
Photos must not include humans or other dog breeds.
Photos may be from a previous year if they were not winners or chosen for the calendar.
*** Submitting an entry constitutes permission for CCWCC to use your photo in other club publications. You will retain the rights to your own photos and can use them any way you like.
